Last night we focused on working together and laboring for the Lord.  The example of church clean up night was used throughout the evening.  One of the main ideas we focused on was, "What if I decide to stay home this time" and more importantly then, "What if every other person also made that same decision?"  It may not seem probable for that to happen, but it is possible.  We need to think how our individual decisions affect everyone else and the church, especially if everyone decides the same thing as me.  We also looked at how each individual's amount of time and work would change based on the fact of less people coming or more people coming.  By staying home from a work night, it may be easier for you, but you just made everyone else have to work a little longer and harder.  Just something to think about.

We had an amazing night of singing that was accompanied by an orchestra.  This was followed by fellowship outside while eating corn on the cob.  We finished the evening with about 35 people singing gospel hymns around the piano and other instruments including violin, viola, flute and trumpet.  What a beautiful night. Here are the verses that were used in last night's portion of the Revival Speaker Series and that should be focused on this week.  The challenge before you is to invite a family or couple over this week for dinner or even a cup of coffee, take time to meet someone for lunch and fellowship, or go visit an elderly person who is lonely.  You will be blessed above your expectations.  Please share other ideas or great experiences you have had due to visiting and hospitality!

We started our Revival Speaker Series this past Sunday night. The brother talked about Christian habits and shared the importance of having these good, positive habits. At the end of the night, everyone was able to pick up a card with some of the scriptures he referenced with one verse to focus on for each day of the week.
